Experience shapes perspective.

Complexity can paralyse.
Possibility can move us.

My strength?

Turning major challenges into clear, actionable solutions.
I support leaders and organisations in shaping future-ready strategies from uncertainty — and putting them into action successfully.

Corporate Sector

From concept to global standard

While others were still debating, we started doing.

Climate change isn’t a future issue – it’s our reality.

And while many were still weighing options, we began developing concrete solutions. As Managing Director, I built ENVI-met from the ground up – strategically, operationally, and communicatively. What began as a start-up became a system used worldwide: by architects, city planners, and researchers – in over 150 countries.

What defined us?

Scientific depth. Technological clarity. And a position that was never up for compromise.

Today, ENVI-met is a global standard.
In 2024, we sold the company – to One Click LCA, the international market leader in decarbonization.

A step we took with conviction. And a clear sign of what becomes possible when vision meets action.

Philanthropy

Networks that move people

A vision alone doesn’t change the world. But a shared vision can.

At Stiftung Mercator, I didn’t just develop projects - I built bridges with my team between people, systems, and goals.

From 2011 to 2014, I led education initiatives worth millions of euros, designed to drive long-term change. My focus: aligning public institutions, businesses, and civil society within collaborative frameworks.

The result?

RuhrFutur – one of Germany’s largest education networks. Together with hundreds of stakeholders, we created a structure that addressed regional disparities in education and delivered measurable progress.

Millions reached, people connected, direction set - because strong networks are the foundation for real transformation.

Public Sector

Innovation within structure

Innovation and public administration rarely go hand in hand.

But that was precisely the challenge I took on from 2000 to 2011.

As spokesperson for the Job Agency and ARGE in Dortmund, I launched Germany’s first website for basic income recipients, demonstrating that public services can connect more directly with people when they are designed with them in mind.

Later, I served as spokesperson for the Deputy Prime Minister of the federal state of Hessen, leading communications in one of the most sensitive policy areas: education during a period marked by crisis and public scrutiny.

My final project in the public sector?

The first digital platform for early-career teachers in Hessen — a clear example that meaningful transformation is possible, even within highly structured systems.
